  While my journey with Burbank has only just began my initial reception has been fantastic. My initial appointments with Megan in the Lucas display to go over the basics and her guidance to get everything set up, then my Edge Studio appointment with Ruby and Nat in Melbourne couldn't have been smother. All three of them have helped guide and have explained the process of what's going on and what to expect next.

  We built our first house with Burbank, the whole experience was amazing starting from sales to building process.We enjoyed the fact that we had so many options of layout,structure and colours to choose from,very professional advice from the whole team and every process in a timely manner. Also some of the mistakes that were found after moving in, were rectified within the warranty period.Burbank did not only build a house but build a home with us.That's why we are building our second house with Burbank again!!!

  My partner and I have been through a few home builders and haven’t had much help or response. Vijay from Burbank was so helpful, I have never had such a good experience. He even stayed back after hours for us as we have a business and are short for time. He was super friendly and made the experience not stressful at all. We were taken through all our options and variations we could do to the property. He made sure to give us the best options while sticking to our budget. Thank you Vijay for being so helpful, caring and thorough. Definitely will be recommending Burbank to everyone. We can’t wait for the process to start and be in our new home.

  • After getting through all the office parts of building my new home, sales, planning, colours selection I was excited to have my home start the building process. Once it had been forwarded onto my building supervisor was when all the hiccups started..! My slab was scheduled in for pour on the 31/5 but through delays from covid supplies arrived later than scheduled, I was next advised that pre slab items were completed and scheduled for 1/7, but after a quick drive by no slab on the 6/7, after questioning I was advised it was delayed due to weather (understandable.) I also found out from a neighbour that the day the slab was poured it was raining quite heavily all day. On the 21/7 an email was received with the slab now having been poured, commencement letter received I promptly sent through the slabs payment and was advised of possible delays due to the surge in building, but assured that my frame would be early to mid August. When asking about photos on the myplace app was told I should have them already but were uploaded incorrectly I received them on the 23/7 (after payment had been sent). An email advising what work would be done over the next 2 weeks

  Meant a little bit more excitement to see my house progressing..! Again let down with communication the frame was finally up around the 14/8, progress payment made and still no pictures on the myplace app as well as documents not being accessible. (This time corrupt files were the problem) finally received photos on the 31/8 and after finding out the frame had failed group 4's approval numerous times, and the Roof cover took almost 6 weeks to be put on. I felt that my supervisor Danny Bartels was not fulfilling his role in my build.. having a sinking feeling that things were not going well I engaged a private inspector to have an extra set of eyes. As soon as that happened I received a call from Danny wanting to know why I had engaged the private inspector and was told they were just a problem and that he'd wash his hand of them anyway. And it's also lucky I did involve a private inspector as upon inspections, frames have been bowed and walls out of plumb, window frames out of plumb, even to go so far that the terrible workmanship of the bricklaying  has resulted in walls having to come down.. this wouldn't have happened if the building supervisor was doing his job and keeping an eye on quality control..
  Ever since that I have felt that the build has been delayed and stretched out further than necessary, and the more complaints with the build the slower the job goes..
  I feel sorry who ever gets Michael Grace (construction Manager) And Danny Bartels(building Supervisor),
  I have been informed by other people who have Built at Burbank its approximately 4-6 weeks from Fix that the house was completed,
  
  I'll be waiting for the tiler to start in that time..

  From initial design, with Dario, making changes to the plan was no fuss. He worked through all the alterations we wanted, making relevant suggestions. At Edge Design the color consultant was amazing, understanding the look we were after, guiding us through options. Lisa, our project supervisor has been fantastic, always keeping us informed about every stage of the process. We're now at slab stage and looking forward to constructing our dream home. We highly recommend Burbank.
